The Royal Oak

It has excellent all-day food, much of it from Eastbrook, their own organic farm. Plus it is in the Michelin Good Food in Pubs guide. Their accommodation has recently been renovated with 12 rooms available.

West Ilsey and East Ilsey:
This pair of villages are two or three Km south of the Ridgeway, so require a bit of a detour to reach.

If you're waiting for a bus in Wantage in the Market Place, the King Alfred's Head (Bar and Bistro) is a nice place to wait. They will (by arrangment) accept bags for people who are walking the Ridgeway, if you stop there for lunch.
